'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' gameplay rumors update: New characters teased, 'Dragon Ball Super' content to be added?

Some of the characters coming to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" were revealed in a magazine scan uploaded online by the people from Saiyan Island.

One of the characters is Cooler, the brother of tyrant Frieza known for his villainous reign in "Dragon Ball Z." Although he isn't as powerful as his brother, he is still a force to be reckoned with.

Both the base form and final form of Cooler in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" can be seen in the magazine scan. His addition hints there's another bad guy for players to deal with in the upcoming fighting game.

The scan also teases the inclusion of Frieza's vain henchman Zarbon, who is known for doing every means to make himself look good even during battle, in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

The roster also includes also the duo of Jeice and Burter from the Ginyu Force mercenary squadron. The white-haired mutant and the so-called Blue Hurricane famous for his speed should make for interesting characters in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

Apart from these three, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" also brings in Turles from "Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might." The space-pirate Saiyan is believed to be one of the key antagonists in the game.

Future Gohan is also joining the roster. It is a mystery who else makes the sequel's roster, but with the addition of the likes of Cooler and the Ginyu Force members, there should be an awful lot of fighters coming to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

According to Tech Times, developer Bandai Namco Entertainment will likely make the roster bigger by including characters who missed out the first iteration of the fighting game.

There are new reports going around that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will also include content based on "Dragon Ball Super." This is yet to be confirmed by Bandai Namco, but it will certainly be a welcome addition for fans.

There will also be exciting new avatar customizations and custom changes in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," including the rule where some places are only allowed to be visited by select characters and the addition of a new transportation system.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released later this year.
