Fans of Bethesda's fantasy free-roam game, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" might have to wait for a few more years before they can get "Elder Scrolls VI," but they can at least wait for the remastered version of the game which is set to come out this coming October.

According to Vine Report, the remastered Special Edition of "Skyrim" will let players experience the game in an all-new light. The game will offer new features like art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth-of-field, and screen-space reflections.

The new edition is also set to bring the full-power mods from the PC to the consoles, and console gamers will be able to get new quests, environments, cutscenes, and characters.

Aside from that, there is also news that Bethesda is currently focusing on other projects as of the moment, so "Skyrim" fans will have to wait a couple more years before they can get their hands on the "Elder Scrolls VI" game.

Fans were a bit disappointed that "Elder Scrolls VI" wasn't announced at last month's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), and Bethesda's vice president Pete Hines confirmed on Twitter that the company is working on other games. However, Hines didn't put down the game sequel entirely, saying that he would only reveal details after the game was formally announced.

Todd Howard, Bethesda's director, also said at E3 that they already had an idea on what "Elder Scrolls VI" will be, but as of the moment, the company just doesn't have access to enough resources to get the game going.

"We have a pretty good idea of what that's going to be, and it's just going to take technology and time we don't necessarily have right now," Howard explained.

Though "Elder Scrolls VI" may not be coming anytime soon, fans can still pick up the remastered version of "Skyrim" this coming Oct. 28.
