'Elder Scrolls 6' release date latest rumors: Bethesda is expected to make the game official at E3?

It appears that "Elder Scrolls 6" may not happen anytime soon. Earlier this year, Bethesda's game director, Todd Howard, said that the company is currently working on three "big and crazy" projects that could be unveiled in the near future.
Many fans took the statement seriously, hoping that one of their favorite games could be on the works including the much awaited "Elder Scrolls 6." However, in his new statement, Howard appears to be backpedaling in a major way.
"I should have never said a number because we have so many things. You could add it up in different ways. You could say it's bigger or smaller. They're a long way off," the game director said during an interview with Game Industry. "I think the larger point was, no one should expect to hear about those [games] anytime soon."
Despite Howard's disappointing statement, fans still believe that "Elder Scrolls 6" will be launched before the year ends. There are also reports that Bethesda will announce the game on the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June this year.
There is still no confirmation from the company whether a reveal will be made or not during the event. However, fans are keeping it positive, especially after a report from Neurogadget emerged that Bethesda has already confirmed their attendance at E3 2016. It will be the company's second E3 event. In 2015, the company made a major announcement when they unveiled "Fallout 4" and fans are hoping that this year will come another big revelation on "Elder Scrolls 6."
Rumors are starting to build up that the company will definitely make the "Elder Scrolls 6" official during the event. If these rumors prove to be true, fans can expect holiday release of the franchise's next installment.
For now, all fans have are merely rumors and speculations. All information must be taken with a grain of salt until the company makes an official announcement.
