Eminem new album 2016 news: Could be delayed; rapper lacks inspiration?

American rapper and songwriter Eminem is reportedly working on a new album this year. The question though is when it might possibly hit store shelves. There aren't a lot of details available but there are rumors going around saying that it may not be coming anytime soon this year.

According to Morning Ledger, the Eminem new album 2016 is still out of reach as there have been reports going around saying that the 43-year old rapper is still trying to find inspiration. And since there is lack of current motivation, he has not been able to come up with new songs for his next album.

It's been three years already since Eminem released his last album titled "The Marshall Mathers." But even though he has been missing in action under the spotlight, he has not totally retired from the music scene. 

As Chatt Sports Net reported, Eminem released two records in 2015 under his own company Shady Records. He worked as an executive producer and also took part in the production of the studio album "Love Story." Aside from that, he also had a collaboration in one of its tracks.

This brings to the speculation that Eminem isn't far from making another album to be released later this year. But until there is no confirmation, fans will have to stay tuned and hope that the "Stan" singer will find some inspiration. The outlet cited that Denaun Porter, a close friend of Eminem, revealed that Eminem will not release an album until there are things to talk about and things to say.

Other reports stated that the reason for the album delay could be because of Eminem's busy schedule. Fans should not lose hope though. Reports say that if the next album will not be out this year, it could possibly make its way out in 2017.
