'Fallout 4' news, updates: Game's new 1.5 update has been released ahead of the 3rd DLC

Bethesda is going to release the third DLC pack for their highly popular game, "Fallout 4." However, before the big day, Bethesda has rolled out a new update, which will surely improve gameplay and fix most issues fans were experiencing.

The new 1.5 update also includes a feature that will support the upcoming DLC pack, which is called "Far Harbor." There are reports suggesting that the new update will make the game a little harder, especially on consoles. It will be interesting how fans would react to this.

Although the new 1.5 update is already available in beta form on Steam, console players will have to wait a few days before it reaches them. As of the moment, no official release date has been announced yet. However, the company has already confirmed that it will soon be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Below are the new feature included in the latest Fallout 4 1.5 update as listed on the Bethesda's official website:

New Survival difficulty
Survival adds additional challenges including no fast travel, saving only when you sleep, increased lethality, diseases, fatigue, danger and more. See the in-game Help menu for more details
Characters set to Survival difficulty appear under their own Character Selection filter

Please Note: Survival difficulty characters are not backward compatible with the 1.4 version of Fallout 4. If you opt out of the Beta, do not use Survival character saved games.

Third person camera movement improvements when player is close up against walls and other objects

Meanwhile, the website also mentioned that the new update will include game fixes such as "General stability and performance improvements," "Fixed issue with the robot workbench camera not moving properly immediately after canceling out of the menu," and many more.
