'Fast and Furious 8' news: The Rock teases new vehicles to be featured

The eighth movie in "The Fast and the Furious" franchise, "Fast 8," is currently shooting, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been teasing fans with some set photos on Instagram.
Johnson, who plays Agent Luke Hobbs in the film, has revealed the Ice Ram, a huge vehicle that looks like it's ready for some epic arctic action. The image was revealed with a snowy backdrop, so fans can assume that the upcoming movie will bring the story somewhere cold. Johnson himself has grown fond of calling himself the "Abominable Ice Man."
The Ice Ram isn't the only vehicle that fans will see in the movie, though. Another photo posted by Johnson is of himself flexing in front of a muscle car. He captioned the photo with, "Freight trains don't fit in muscle cars. So they express their dominance with a warm and inviting smile. #OnSet #FastAndFurious8 #F8 #TheIcemanCometh #AndHeDontFuckethAround."
Other vehicles that will be present in the movie are Dom's (Vin Diesel) Dodge, Roman's (Tyres Gibson) orange Lamborghini Murcielago, and Letty's (Michelle Rodriguez) Local Motor Rally Fighter.
Ludacris' character, Tej, will be riding the Ripsaw, and by the looks of it, the Ice Ram may have a run for its money when it comes to being a monster of a vehicle.
"The Fast and the Furious" franchise has been having a steady run since 2001, and even with the loss of series regular Paul Walker, the producers seem to want to continue with the new trilogy of films that was initiated with "Furious 7." James Wan, director of "Furious 7," also says that he wants Justin Lin, director of the first movie, to direct the final films because he would be the "perfect choice" to bring the series to a close.
"Fast 8" is currently in production and is set to be released on April 14, 2017.
