'Fear the Walking Dead' season 2 episode 6 spoilers: Strand in grave trouble in 'Sicut Cervus'?
Someone from the Abigail crew might not make it to Mexico in another exciting episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2. The trailer for the episode teases that fans will have reasons to worry about Strand (Colman Domingo).
In episode 6 of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 titled "Sicut Cervus," Strand and Luis (Arturo del Puerto) realize that their contact, who was supposed to be alone, came with another individual he did not tell them about.
Strand instructs Madison (Kim Dickens) that the rest of the crew hide while they deal with their contact. Madison obliges and takes everyone to the engine room. From there, they listened to the interaction.
Things must have gone awry because the next thing they heard in the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 trailer are gunshots and a lot of them too. It is rumored that someone will get hurt or even die because of this.
It is possible that Strand was hit, but Melty says that it is unlikely that he will give up the ghost. Not only is he a key player in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 right now, but big plans for his character are on the cards.
"Fear the Walking Dead" showrunner Dave Erickson has already said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Strand and Madison will forge a friendship, something that hasn't quite happened yet.
"Up to this point we've introduced a Strand who is somewhat maniacal when he needs to be, and can be incredibly cold when he needs to be, and this is an indication of a more emotional side to this guy," Erickson said.
"And seeing that side of him, you begin to better understand his relationship as it develops with Madison moving forward, because we will see a friendship growing between the two of them," he revealed.
It is speculated that it is Luis and not Strand who meets his doom. The promo photo embedded above shows no sign of him, so the casualty there might have been Strand's mysterious associate.
Meanwhile, "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 episode 6 also looks into Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) and his mental state after murdering Reed (Jesse McCartney).
Ever since the incident, he has been disaffected from the group. But in the next episode, he will do something about it. This might have something to do with his father Travis (Cliff Curtis) finally learning about the truth.
Lastly, "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 episode 6 will also introduce to Nick (Frank Dillane) a new maternal figure.
