'Fifty Shades Darker' movie news: First official full trailer released; Christian Grey's dark secret to be unveiled
"Fifty Shades Darker" is nearing its premiere date and fans who have watched the first movie are already excited for the sequel. To heighten the hype even more, the first full trailer was recently released.

Launched for the public on Tuesday, Sept. 13, the 2-minute trailer features the film plot based on the second book of British author E.L. James' erotic romance trilogy "Fifty Shades of Grey." Looking at the video, there's a lot going on and it's expected to be darker than the first installment.
Jamie Dornan has reprised his role as Christian Grey while Dakota Johnson has returned as Anastasia Steele. The sequel picks up after the ending of the first film. And although it ended with the lovers separating, the second film sees them get back together, which means Anastasia and Christian's romance will fuel up even more.
The trailer kicked off with Christian trying to win back Anastasia. He sends her a huge bouquet of flowers. One hears him whispering in the background "I want you back." The trailer did not reveal how they get back together but it skipped forward to them going to a masquerade party.
As detailed in Entertainment Online, it seems like the party marks a pivotal point in the film. Kim Basinger also makes an appearance as she plays the role of Elena Lincoln, the older woman who introduced to Christian the BDSM.
Moreover, the trailer shows Anastasia accepting Christian back in her life. But though she is heard saying "no rules, no punishments and no more secrets," it's unlikely to happen as Christian still has a lot of dark secrets to expose.
As noted in Heavy, Australian actress Bella Heathcote is joining the film as Leila Williams, a former submissive of Christian. She's out to haunt Anastasia as she is heard saying "Do you think you're the first one who's tried to save him?"
"Fifty Shades Darker" will premiere in February 2017.
