There are just a few days left until the latest patch for "Final Fantasy XIV" will be released. Patch 3.4 called "Soul Surrender" is scheduled to come out next week and it's promised to bring in new content for all the gamers.

According to Siliconera, game producer Naoki Yoshida previously teased some of the features that will be coming with the update. First on the list are the new side quests. Developer Square Enix has added in the Hildibrand and Scholasticate, which is said to require players working with the Warrior of Light to intensify the adventure line with Saint Endalim's Scholasticate. In this quest, players will work together to look for a missing student.

There's also the battle hall at the Gold Saucer for Triple Triad. This is where players can get a chance to show off their deck-building skills to other players in the realm. The update will also include the final raid called Alexander: The Creator, which is said to come together with a Savage mode of the raid.

This final raid will bring players to face the huge Primal for one final battle. This will then ultimately tell the fate of Eorzea. We Got This Covered noted that those who succeed in the battle will be rewarded with new endgame gear as well as the skill to go and fight again. Only this time, the level will be a more difficult Savage mode which will give rewards that are better than the first.

Aside from the quests, reports said that Patch 3.4 will also come with a new dungeon identified as the Xelphatol. Players should watch out for this as it is noted to be a more challenging dungeon compared to the one found in the previous version. Players who have reached level 60 will encounter this new dungeon in the shadow of the First Mountain.

Patch 3.4 will also be introducing new apartments which players can purchase and settle down in. They also have the option to turn it into a house by remodeling.

"Final Fantasy" patch 3.4 "Soul Surrender" is set to launch on Tuesday, Sept. 27, for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
