'Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location' release date news 2016: Game not cancelled, confirmed via hidden message
"Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location" made headlines after fans of the franchise started panicking over cancellation news.

It all started when the official website of Scott Games displayed a message on its homepage. In red big letters, one can read the words "Cancelled due to leaks" upon visiting the site. There is no doubt that tons of leaks and rumors have surfaced since the announcement of the fifth installment of the "Five Nights at Freddy's" series.
But it came out as something unusual, though, since a lot of unreleased games get leaks all the time. Cancelling an entire game due to people snooping around seems to be a shallow compared to the success that it will attain once it is out. True enough, the note was not meant to be the way it is read.
According to a report, the "Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location" is not cancelled, and there's a proof to that if one will look closely. It is said that the note is merely a deception, and they will discover the truth about it if they copy the image and paste it into an editor. By adjusting the brightness of the image, a lengthy hidden message will appear in the background.
Only a handful would be able to decipher the cryptic image, though, but reports say that fans should have nothing to worry about as creator Scott Cawthon has no plans of dropping the next installment of the horror series.
And for those who wants extra reassurance, clues leading to non-cancellation include the intactness of the game's official Steam page. If the game is truly being cancelled, then Cawthon and his team would have removed the title from Steam, too.
The release date of the game is yet to be announced, but it's expected to arrive sometime before Halloween. Fans will have to stay tuned to get more updates.
