Frank Ocean's new album release date rumors 2016: Still not out on Apple Music; fans vent out frustration over social media

Frank Ocean could potentially lose fans if he doesn't drop his latest album as soon as possible. Fans have been waiting and expecting the follow-up to Channel Orange but until now, it's nowhere to found.
According to a report, the new album of the Louisiana-born songwriter and rapper did not hit Apple Music on Friday, Aug. 5 as expected. The album, which is purported to be titled as "Boys Don't Cry," was supposed to come out on the said date as an exclusive deal with the Cupertino-based tech giant's music platform.
A close source told New York Times about the release plans, even stating that the album will remain exclusive to Apple only for two weeks. It will then become more widely available.
But since it never came, fans are now wondering what the commotion was all about when Ocean dropped a mysterious video on a certain website that was supposedly connected to the album. It revealed very little details which only left fans more puzzled with what the workbenches in a large empty room meant.
Some also expressed their disappointment and frustration over the missing album. Social media was packed with witty statements, many of which saying they are still waiting. One Twitter user wrote, "I don't even want the new Frank Ocean album anymore, I'm just tired of being lied to."
Forbes also noted that page views on Wikipedia increased to more than 300 percent in the week that the album was supposed to launch. Several people also talked about the innovative and enigmatic R&B singer over at Facebook even though Ocean does not have an official Twitter account nor an official Instagram account. The "Pyramids" singer also became a top trending search on Google at more than half a million.
It's only expected though that fans went wild when the album did not arrive since they have been waiting for the album for four years. So when will "Boys Don't Cry" hit the digital music store? Fans will have to keep their cool and stay tuned.
