'Gears of War 4' release date, price update latest: Game confirmed to launch in 2016; early deals available including 'early access'

"Gears of War 4" was announced last year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3, but since then fans have not heard anything official about its launch.

Before E3 2015, rumors were circulating about the potential development of another "Gears of War" game. There were speculations that the people behind the franchise were also planning to launch a remastered version of 'Gears of War" for Xbox One. When it was announced, people found that the rumors were indeed true.

Not only did developer The Coalition confirm the development of "Gears of War 4," but it also announced that a remastered version called "Gears of War" Ultimate Edition is on its way too.

Although it was confirmed that the next installment of the series will come out in 2016 by its publisher, Microsoft Studios, and game developer, no specific date has been announced yet. The new "Gears of War" is an exclusive Microsoft game, which will be released for Xbox One. Unfortunately, the game won't be available on other gaming consoles.

Nevertheless, there are rumors stating that the game might make its way to the PC platform with Windows Operating System. During his interview with Game Informer, The Coalition's Rod Fergusson responded with an unsure statement when asked about the possibility of "Gears of War 4" going into the PC.

Meanwhile, players who had the chance to play the Ultimate Edition of "Gears of War" on Mar. 1 are said to get early access to the new "Gears of War 4" beta version.

The new "Gears of War 4" will be priced at $60 once it comes out in the Market for Xbox One. There are reports that Amazon or Best Buy will give an early deal for fans who will buy the new video game from them.
