'General Hospital' spoilers, plot news: Franco prime suspect for Dr. Mayes' death; Claudette arrives in Port Charles

Another death has occurred in the soap opera "General Hospital" and everyone is curious to know who the killer is. As fans may recall, Dr. Mayes was killed in the previous episode. He was initially thought to be the serial killer but now that he is dead, Nathan is looking for the true killer.

According to spoilers, Nathan will handle the case of the murders happening in the hospital. He will be heading over to the institution to interrogate the staff at General Hospital. Nathan will start his interview with Liz first since she was the one who found Dr. Mayes dead on the floor.

But Nathan has listed already his prime suspects: Franco and Dr. Obrecht. And while the others are sad about the doctor's death, someone is glad that he is gone. Reports say tht Hamilton is glad to hear the news. But since he was locked up in PCPD when the incident happened, he could not be the suspect.

Nathan will conclude that Dr. Mayes' death was done by the same person who killed Lucas. Both died from a toxic drug called derisifol. And since Franco appeared at the time Liz asked for help, he is accused to be the killer. Liz will defend him though.

Meanwhile, Nathan's ex-wife Claudette is going to appear starting in the week of July 4. Spoilers suggest that she's going to cause a lot of trouble especially for Nathan and Maxie. Claudette has plans which include arranging a surprise meeting with Nathan.

But even before she gets in touch with her ex-husband, she will try to meet up with Maxie first by concealing her identity and pretending to apply at Crimson. Maxie will get along with Claudette not knowing that she is befriending her lover's past. As to what Claudette has planned for her arrival in Port Charles is something that fans will have to find out.
