'General Hospital' spoilers, plot news: Valentin tries to kidnap Spencer; Nathan wants quickie wedding

Fans of ABC's soap opera "General Hospital" will have to stick to their remotes because events happening in the show are moving fast. Just the other week, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) held hostages in Cassadine Island. Now, he's in Genoa City, and he is certain to stir up some more trouble.

Spoiler reports reveal that he is going to try to kidnap Nikolas' (Tyler Christopher) son. After spending some intimate time with Nina (Michelle Stafford), Valentin will discover that Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) has been trying to contact his father. Nikolas' phone has been with Valentin all this time and thanks to Spencer's messages, he has traced where the boy is currently located.

Spencer is at a summer camp, and Valentin is going there to get him. Valentin knows that Nikolas isn't the last one in line as the Cassadine heir. His plan could either be getting rid of Spencer or using him as a bait to lure Nikolas out from his hiding. Spoilers claim that Valentin will trick Spencer into coming with him. Spencer will easily believe Valentin since he has his father's phone on hand.

However, Valentin's plan of kidnapping is predicted to turn out unsuccessful because either Sonny or Jason will save him in the nick of time. Will Spencer's life be put at risk? Will Nikolas come out of his hiding after pretending to be dead just to save his son?

Meanwhile, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) wants to marry Maxie (Kirsten Storms) right away. As detailed in the spoilers for the upcoming episode, Nathan wants to have a quick wedding with Maxie. But the latter will not completely agree with him and will suspect that he only wants things to be done as soon as possible because he is guilty with Claudette (Bree Williamson).

Whatever Nathan's intention is, it seems that he just wants Maxie to trust him again. He's also done with Claudette when turned her down realizing that there is no space available for his ex-wife in his life anymore. But will Maxie agree to Nathan's wish? Maxie has been planning a fabulous wedding, and she surely wouldn't want to skip it.

"General Hospital" airs every Monday to Friday on ABC.
