A "Gilmore Girls" reboot is happening and fans are dying to catch it on the small screen already. No specific date has been announced yet for its premiere but spoilers and updates are plenty.

The newest to hit headlines is the addition of British actress Alex Kingston into the "Gilmore Girls" cast. According to Entertainment Online, the "Dr. Who" star teased at a Miami fan convention last weekend that she will be playing a particular role in the drama series. She did not disclose anything about her character but she did reveal it as someone who is "very eccentric." She also said that she will be appearing in a couple of episodes.

She also mentioned that she did not film her scenes in Stars Hollow, which is at the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles. Instead, she said that they shot her parts "on location." Wherever that may be, fans will have to find out as the actress said that's all she has to say about the reboot.

But fans don't have to worry about their daily dose of spoilers as the show already set up their official Instagram account and even posted their first photo which seems to be a hint at what's to come in the series.

The post showed a photo of two coffee cups and comes with a caption that says, "Like all good things, we gotta start with a cup of Luke's coffee. Welcome to the Gilmore Gram."

Bustle suggested that the cups represent something and they were not just chosen randomly. They could be Rory's and Lorelai's cups. And with the other cup designed with a little cityscape, it could mean that Rory will be introduced living in a city somewhere near Stars Hollow.

Another speculation is that the series could start the same way the original series did. Fans who followed the original "Gilmore Girls" may recall that the pilot episode showed Lorelai in Luke's Diner asking for another cup of coffee from Luke.

But until the show airs its first episode, fans will have to stay tuned for updates on the all new "Gilmore Girls."
