Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee is gearing up to release two new devices next week. Dubbed as the M6 and M6 Plus, the two new smartphones are said to be unveiled on July 26 in China.

Official details for both the devices are still scarce but there are tidbits of information that has been released ahead. According to a report, the Gionee M6 was recently spotted on TENAA, revealing some of its specifications and features. Codenamed as Gionee GN8003, the listing said that the variant will be sporting a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display with 1080p resolution.

It will be equipped under the hood with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor along with four Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. It's expected RAM count is 4 GB and it is said to feature 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card.

As noted in a report, its highlight feature is an encrypted chip that provides users with double protection for its valuable data. It's basically deemed as the world's most secure phone because of its higher encryption levels. It will protect the user's call records, documents, photos, notes, passwords, and so on.

Moreover, the Gionee M6 is said to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front camera. Its operating system is said to be Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Connectivity options include the basics such as Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS. Its battery capacity is 5,000mAh, which is just one tier lower compared to the M6 Plus.

Gionee released a teaser indicating that the Plus variant will be packed with a whopping 6020mAh battery. Apart from that, there is no other information available for the M6 Plus. It seems like the company is keeping details well kept under the wraps. It's predicted to most likely sport a massive 6.5 or 7-inch display, though.

Interested consumers will have to stay tuned to find out if the speculations are correct. There are only a few days left until the Gionee M6 and Gionee M6 Plus smartphones will be unveiled.
