'Girl Meets World' season 3 episode 6 spoilers: Maya turns to Shawn to find herself, love triangle resolution being set up in 'Girl Meets Upstate'

In "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 6 titled "Girl Meets Upstate," Riley (Rowan Blanchard) will bring her best friend to their good friend Shawn, who was more than happy to help.

However, in the promo for the "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode, Shawn somehow gets into a big tussle with Cory (Ben Savage). Despite this, whatever Shawn is doing seem to work.

The teaser for the episode shows that Maya slowly returns to her normal self as she tells Riley that she "did [my] job" with regards to finding herself, smudging her best friend with paint as she did. This led to the two messing with the paints.

It appears that "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 6 will finally lead Maya to where she wants to be and to realize who she really is since episode 7 is titled "Girl Meets True Maya."

The writers of "Girl Meets World" teased this in one of their tweets, where they said that "Girl Meets True Maya" is "where she finds out who she is." Episode 6 should set that up.

Riley and Maya's trip to the upstate in the upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3 is expected to mark a new story arc that will eventually lead to the resolution of the long-standing mystery on the show.

"Girl Meets World" fans have been dying to see what becomes of the love triangle involving Riley, Maya and Lucas (Peyton Meyer). Viewers have their pairing of preference, but as the writers have hinted on Twitter, this isn't a love triangle at all.

According to some reports, Maya rediscovering herself in upcoming episodes of "Girl Meets World" season 3 will have an impact on how this so-called triangle.

It is unclear how, but it is expected that fans will get an answer about the love triangle in "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 8 titled "Girl Meets Ski Lodge."

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 6 will not air this week. Instead, fans will have to wait for Friday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Disney Channel to catch the episode.
