'Girl Meets World' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Riley is 'disgraced,' friendship with Maya in jeopardy?

Riley (Rowan Blanchard) goes through another high school dilemma and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) discovers what's holding her artistic voice back in the upcoming episodes of "Girl Meets World" season 3.

In episode 4 titled "Girl Meets Permanent Record," Riley learns that Spanish may not be her strong suit and that this failure will go down in history.

In the trailer for the upcoming "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode, Riley gets a D in Spanish while Maya got an A, which impressed the former's parents.

On the other hand, Riley feels only one thing. "I am disgraced, D for disgraced," she said while she wore the embarrassing mark tore from her Spanish exam.

It appears that it will be difficult for Riley to deal with this, especially watching her mess around in the promo for "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 4.

According to speculations, the papers may have been switched. However, it may also be that Maya is simply better in Spanish compared to her best friend.

Following "Girl Meets Permanent Record" is "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 5 "Girl Meets Triangle," which will deal with a far different story than fans expected.

The title seems to suggest that the episode will shed some light on the love triangle between Maya, Riley and Lucas (Peyton Meyer), but that would not be the case.

This installment of Girl Meets World" season 3 will focus on Maya and her aspiration to be an artist. Her art teacher implies that her friendship with Riley might be making it harder to find her artistic voice.

Because of this, Maya starts to struggle with identity crisis. If she decides to take a break from Riley for a while, it might make things harder for her. While she appears to be restraining Maya's creative self, Riley might also be the one to help her best friend.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 4 "Girl Meets Permanent Record" airs Friday, June 17 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on Disney Channel. "Girl Meets Triangle" will air the following week.
