Tech insider Evan Blass is back at teasing the Google Nexus 2016 smartphones once again. In his later Twitter reveal, he shared details on the specs of the Nexus Sailfish.

Blass shared a build.prop file, which BGR broke down the important information to take away from it. There, it was revealed that the Google Nexus 2016 Sailfish will sport a 5.2-inch Full High-Definition (HD) display.

It was also listed there that the Google Nexus 2016 in question will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

It was expected that the Nexus Sailfish and it's bigger counterpart, the Nexus Marlin, will get the Snapdragon 821 chipset, which was unveiled earlier this month.

However, it appears that Google and HTC will not go for the latest Qualcomm has to offer, at least for the Google Nexus 2016 Sailfish. It remains a mystery if the same can be said with the Nexus Marlin.

Whether or not the Google and HTC will save the Snapdragon 821 processor for the bigger Google Nexus 2016 device is unknown at the moment.

Prior to the leak involving the Nexus Sailfish, a leak featuring its Marlin counterpart also hit the web in the form of a live image that confirmed the Marlin codename.

The image also revealed that the Google Nexus 2016 handsets will indeed debut the Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system, which is not much of a shock.

Google always releases its new mobile OS on new Nexus devices. This year for the follow-up to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the tradition continues.

The Android Nougat running on the Nexus Marlin featured in the image was updated with a security patch dated July 5, as seen on the leak.

There's not much to take away from the photo as far as its design goes as the leakster appears to have focused on showing the details on the screen.

The Google Nexus 2016 devices are expected to be unveiled next month.
