GoPro Hero 5 specs news 2016: Rumored to have 3D camera technology

Tech geeks are still anticipating the arrival of the next device in the GoPro Hero series, and rumor has it that the GoPro Hero 5 will be equipped with 3D technology that lets it capture videos in 3D.
There are reports claiming that the Hero 5 will have features that will set it apart from all its other competitors. It is said that the 3D feature is the very thing that makes it different. The camera will sport 4K resolution, and it will be able to capture images at 60 frames per second (fps).
The camera will also have a larger battery capacity, a 2,800 mAh battery to be more specific, so users could use it for longer periods of time in between charges. Like other GoPros in the series, the Hero 5 will also be able to function underwater, and it will be able to withstand being submerged in a depth of 60 meters. There are no reports, however, on how long the camera will be able to operate at that depth.
Reports also say that the camera will come with Bluetooth 4.0 which will allow the transfer of files more easily. This set-up will reportedly come with dual-lens that will support the camera's alleged 3D capabilities.
If the GoPro Hero 5 does have 3D capabilities like what rumors suggest, then it will truly be the first of its kind. It will certainly set the bar for small high-resolution cameras.
As of now, the developers are silent with regards to the details about the upcoming GoPro Hero 5. Furthermore, no release date has been confirmed. However, there are speculations suggesting that it will be released together with GoPro's first drone, Karma. Based on reports, Karma will be available for purchase in the coming holiday season.
