'Gotham' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Fish Mooney returns; Thomas Jr. is Bruce's brother?
Crime television series "Gotham" is currently on hiatus but it will be back soon in the small screen for its third season. Followers of the show are already excited to catch new episodes. Fortunately for them, tidbits of spoilers have surfaced ahead for them to know what they can expect in "Gotham" season 3.

According to a report, Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) will be taking the villain spot for the third installment. Fans may recall that in the season 2 finale, Mooney rose up from the dead with the help of Dr. Hugo Strange (BD Wong). She also managed to escape Indian Hill and Arkham Asylum and brought along with her a truckload of Strange's experiments.
And now, she's about to cause some havoc along with the other monsters that she brought and set free in the city after crashing the truck. Reports revealed that season 3 will be packed with villains including Poison Ivy and Killer Croc. Other expected characters that will be featured in the show are Mad Hatter, Valerie Vale and Bruce's (David Mazouz) doppleganger.
Before the series closed its second season, fans saw a long-haired boy who looked exactly the same as Bruce. Fans were shocked to see the face of the boy which led to several speculations saying the boy is Thomas Jr., the long lost brother of Bruce. Theories suggest that he was put in an institution after suffering a brain damage caused by an accident when he was still a kid.
But since Bruce's parents, Thomas Sr. and Martha, were killed, they were not able to inform Bruce about his sibling. There is no confirmation to this detail though so it's best to take reports with a pinch of salt. But if it does turn out that the boy is Bruce's brother, layers of revelations are expected to be unveiled and made known soon.
"Gotham" season 3 will premiere on Sept. 19 on Fox.
