'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 release date, spoilers: New poster released; Jackson and April getting back together?
The wait for "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will soon come to an end as the series will hit the small screen once again next month.

The previous season ended with many crucial events such as Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) tying the knot, Ben (Jason Winston George) saving the lives of April (Sarah Drew) and her baby, and Jackson (Jesse Williams) finally meeting his first child.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 seems to be something that fans look forward to, and to bring up the hype further, the show released a new poster. Exclusively obtained by TVLine, the new teaser shows half of Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) features from her bust up to her head. The other side of her body is replaced with the iconic Seattle skyline.
The poster is also different from the usual as no tagline can be found. This brings fans to make their own interpretation of the prominent, turquoise-tinged artwork. One analysis that surfaced is concerned with the new chapter in Meredith's life. Before season 12 closed, she was last seen embarking on a love affair with Nathan (Martin Henderson).
She could finally be breaking her walls down to welcome a new relationship after McDreamy Derek (Patrick Dempsey) died. Although no one can ever replace Derek, Meredith is free to choose anyone who could help her learn how to love again.
But in true "Grey's Anatomy" fashion, Meredith's new love life will not be complete without some obstacles and the impending one takes the form of her own sister, Maggie (Kelly McCreary), who revealed that she likes Nathan.
Meanwhile, a happy reunion could be happening in the 13th run of the series. Spoilers suggest that April and Jackson could be back in each other's arms as husband and wife now that their baby is born. Drew posted a behind-the-scenes photo on Twitter, showing herself together with Williams.
She can be seen wearing a hospital gown, meaning her character is recovering from her near-death experience while trying to deliver her baby. It's still to be known how things will unfold for Jackson and April, but the traumatic event may just be the catalyst that would cause the two to restore their relationship.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
