After spending most of season 12 at each other's throats, Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Riggs (Martin Henderson) may finally be able to work things out and become friends again in "Grey's Anatomy" season 13.

As fans know, Owen and Riggs were once good friends and Riggs was married to Owen's sister. However, their friendship fell apart after Riggs' wife died and Owen blamed him for her death.

According to Henderson, the former best pals and brothers-in-law may be heading for reconciliation now that Owen has taken the first step and allowed Riggs to attend his wedding to Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) in the season 12 finale. But will a "silly" misstep by Riggs have Owen taking back the olive branch of peace he extended?

In an interview for Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room, Henderson said, "In season 13, it looks like that relationship is going to be healed — until I do something silly."

"From Nathan's point of view, he's really wanting to bury the hatchet and actually move on," he added.

Meanwhile, another "Grey's Anatomy" couple may be similarly headed for a long-awaited reunion in season 13. Now that April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) have welcomed their newborn daughter, could the couple be finally getting back together?

While the two were divorced in the previous season, will the birth of their daughter drive them to start a new life together? Or will they choose to stay separated while co-parenting their child?

In an interview with TVLine, Williams said that there's always a chance the two will reconcile, but that "it's day to day with Jackson and April."

"They can have a very civil, mature conversation one moment, then be at each other's throats [the next], because real life is like that," he explained. "We carry frustrations and baggage and grudges."

"It's a very passionate relationship with a lot of history behind it," he added.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 debuts on Thursday, Sept. 22, on ABC.
