"I like switching it up, honestly," said Nowalk. "I don't want the show to become stale," he added.
It can be recalled that in season 2, it was more on dealing with the case of Rose that it hindered the way for cases of the week. Nowalk said that in season 3, they will try to balance things out. But Nowalk mentioned that though they will be making some changes in the format of the show, one thing will remain and that is the work of Annalise (Viola Davis).
Nowalk also revealed to Variety that the storyline of the death of Wes' (Alfred Enoch) dad will play out in the third season too. As to when the killer will be revealed, it's something that fans will have to stay tuned to watch. Nowalk is planning to either unveil the murderer in the first minute of the show or in the later part to make it a longer mystery given that it's a complicated story.
Reports also stated that a new character will be coming in to the show. The character will be introduced as someone who will challenge Annalise's character and her eccentric ways of teaching. It's not yet known who the actor or the character is but it's expected to be revealed soon.
