HP Elite X3 price tag revealed; specs include Snapdragon 820, 5.9-inch display, 16MP camera

It's no secret that HP is releasing a new product dubbed as the Elite X3 Windows 10 smartphone. And while details about its specs have been made known already, its price tag is still kept under wraps. However, that may all be changed now as leaks reveal how much the new device costs.
According to a report, a French site disclosed that the Elite X3 will be priced at €699 or around $770. However, the price seems to be limited only to the smartphone. A bundle is said to be available and it will cost a buyer €1200 or around $1330. It will include the smartphone, a Continuum dock and an HP Mobile Extender which functions as an external display for Continuum on the Elite X3.
This particular feature allows users to connect to it wirelessly and use the Continuum for phones on the device via the keyboard and trackpad. HP's Elite X3 is apparently an expensive device but considering its hardware specifications and features, every dime will be worth it.
WCCF Tech detailed that the Elite X3 will carry a Snapdragon 820 processor. It will be paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and feature an internal storage with a capacity of 64 GB. A microSD card slot will be available for memory expansion of up to 2 TB. It will also have a massive 5.96-inch QHD AMOLED display and a 4,150 mAh battery pack that is predicted to last a whole day of usage.
Running with the Windows 10 operating system, the Elite X3 will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is also said to sport a fingerprint scanner and an iris scanner.
As for its release date, the HP Elite X3 is said to arrive this September in Italy. There is no specific date yet but speculations are rife that it will make its way out after the release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
