HTC 10 release date update, specs and pricing rumors: Leaked information suggests a new variant of the flagship device?

Although the announcement was indirectly made through HTC's Twitter account, it's no longer a surprise that the company is gearing up for an April 12 launching of its latest flagship model, HTC 10, in three different cities. According to the report, the event will happen in London, New York and Taipei. HTC is definitely going to have a global reveal of the new model, which is expected to compete with the leading smartphones in the market today. Interestingly so, a new leak has emerged online, revealing new information regarding the new line.
According to the latest rumor, the handset will carry a Snapdragon 652 processor; however, fans should take note that only one of its many variants will come with the said processor. The new variant is said to come with 3 GB of RAM or optimal usage and 16 GB of onboard storage capacity. It may not compete with its bigger brothers; the smartphone will definitely target the mid-range market.
The other two variants are powered by Snapdragon 820; however, they will differ in RAM and storage capacity. One will carry a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, while the other one carries 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of internet storage.
Nevertheless, all three variants will boast a 5.15-inch Quad HD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Meanwhile, the lesser variant will have a 12MP rear shooter with dual tone LED flash and autofocus. It will be also sport a 3,000mAh battery. Apart from its Snapdragon 652 processor, the handset will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the HTC Sense 8.0 UI overlaid.
Pricing details will also vary per variant. Rumor has it that the HTC 10 Snapdragon 652 model will carry a price of $584, while the Snapdragon 820 with 3 GB of RAM will be priced at $768. The Snapdragon 820 4 GB variant will be a bit pricey at $904.
Nothing has been set on stone yet when it comes to the pricing details; fans may have to wait for the April 12 announcement for the official launching.
