'Hunter x Hunter' chapter 361 release date; series to go on hiatus, return date not set
Sad news awaits fans of the manga series "Hunter x Hunter." The Japanese comic series is going on yet another break and it's not known yet when it will be returning to bring in new chapters.
According to reports, the series will be on an indefinite hiatus after the release of chapter 360. This is not the first time that "Hunter X Hunter" would go on a long hiatus as it already went on a two-year long break and just came back in April. The reported reason for the long wait was due to creator Yoshihiro Togashi's health condition wherein he became bedridden after complaints of severe pain from the hips downwards.
The author himself revealed the hiatus news to the fans and while many hope for just a short break, it is unlikely since it is the author's health that is at stake once again. Sitting down to continue to write for the series may worsen Togashi's health condition. That is why publishing of a new chapter is not possible at this time.
There are even speculations suggesting that chapter 360 could be the last for the "Hunter x Hunter" series and Togashi will retire already at the age of 50. But if the title does return for more chapters, Togashi may no longer be returning along to write for it. Details about the hiatus are scarce for now and Togashi's party has not confirmed anything yet. Thus, fans will have to stay tuned to find out the fate of the comic story.
Meanwhile, "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 360 has been released and it is titled as "Parasite." In it, Kurapika tested the loyalty of Prince Woble's guards and so far, no one has really passed the test. But Kurapika, Queen Oito and the rest of the bodyguards were surprised by the sudden appearance of parasites or nen beasts in area 14. They had to do everything in their power to protect the royalties from the beasts.
