Inspirational author and pastor Max Lucado invites his followers to join him in meaningful Christian Tour to Israel. Lucado will host the tour with UpWords Ministry, a teaching ministry founded by the pastor whose purpose is to lead others to Christ.

The tour, to be administered by Inspiration Cruises and Tours, will be held on March 21–31, 2017. In the note written by Lucado, he said that even if he travels to Israel several times, "each trip offers new insights and a deepening love of our spiritual homeland."

He continues to invite readers, saying that this will be an exclusive study tour, filled with teaching, touring, fellowship, praise and worship.

Those who will be joining the tour will have to count on Lucado in sharing his favorite book in the Bible — the Book of Joshua.

The author, whose latest book called "Glory Days," told Christian Post the he finds the Book of Joshua very unique.

"It [the book of Joshua] covers a seven-year period in the history of ancient Israel in which they literally went undefeated," Lucado said.

The author added that the key to get through life's struggles is to understand and apply Biblical principles by not allowing circumstances to define one's outlook on life.

"You'll always face problems. When you experience hard times, immerse your mind in God thoughts. Turn a deaf ear to doubters. Set your mind on a holy cause. Once you find your mountain, no giant will stop you, no age will disqualify you, and no problem will defeat you," he said.

In an interview with The 700 Club, Lucado said that many people today still live in the wilderness even after receiving the Promised Land. He said that the Lord already gave a promise in Joshua 1 that He will never leave nor forsake his people.

"When the days are darkest, the lights are at its brightness," said Lucado said. He further urged his followers to read the Bible and meditate on it day and night.
