iOS 10 Beta 5 release date news: Now available for download; features a new lock screen sound, widgets screen and more

Apple has released the iOS 10 beta 5 to both developers and beta testers, and as expected, a couple of changes has been made and incorporated.
Apple users may recall that when the company released the iOS 10 beta 4, they introduced new emoji characters. The beta 5 has no new items this time, but there are a couple of updates as well as tweaks that many may like.
The iOS 10 beta 5 will reportedly bring a new lock sound. Users will now hear a new sound whenever they lock their iPhone. It's said to be a sound similar to a door closing. Another change that users will find is the Smart Battery Case. The iPhone 6 and 6s will now work better with Apple's battery life extender. The notes released for the iOS 10 said that the case will no longer create panic for those who own the devices.
The update will also tweak the output icon that is seen in the Control Center, Music app and other locations in the iOS. Moreover, the iOS 10 beta 5 will introduce the new widgets panel. It is accessible by swiping to the right and will now display the date on all devices.
It's also noted that the Apple is planning to make some changes with their facial recognition data in beta 5. This will lead all named, favorited and merged face data to be reset.
It is also reported that the new beta will now let third party apps play Music even if the Music app has been removed. There will also be no dropouts using Bluetooth LE-based hearing aids with an iPhone that is paired with an Apple Watch.
Apart from that, there's also going to make launching the camera from the lock screen easier. They will also show the current date on the home screen. On top of that, Apple has also brought some minor bug fixes with the new beta.
