iOS 10 release date news: New OS expected to be the highlight of WWDC 2016; iPhone 7 to come with iOS 10 in September?

Fans are expecting Apple to unveil the company's latest version of operating system, the iOS 10, at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2016. The event is scheduled to start on June 13 in San Francisco.

Fans are pretty excited to discover what is in store for them once the update is released. According to a report by Mac Rumors, the upcoming OS will add additional features and improve user experience.

News about certain improvements to certain apps is beginning to trickle through as well. Apparently Photos is getting a big overhaul.

"It is not clear exactly what features will be added to the apps, but Mac Otakara says Photo 2.0.1 included tools for editing EXIF information and touch-based brushes for adjusting brightness and other parameters on only specific parts of a photo," noted by Mac Rumors "Similar editing tools could be added to the iOS version of Photos."

The iOS 10 announcement will certainly be the highlight of the WWDC 2016 event. Fans are definitely eager to know the possible new features they will get on their iPhone and iPad once the iOS 10 is ready. Tech observers are also excited for the new iPhone 7 to be launched. Although Apple has yet to provide significant details with regard to the development and release date of the next-generation iPhone, it has continued to be the most talked about upcoming smartphone today. The new iPhone 7 is also expected to come with a pre-installed iOS 10 once it hits the shelves.

The iPhone 7 is said to be in the works right now and it is expected to come out in September. If rumors prove to be true, Apple will certainly give its competitors a run for their money once the new iPhone starts to roll out.

Meanwhile, the Cupertino-based company is also expected to reveal some of its products during the annual Apple event including the much awaited Apple Watch 2 and a new MacBook Pro model.
