iPad Pro 2 release date, specs news 2016: Rumored to feature True Tone display, 12MP camera, Rose Gold color

Apple is at the top of the rumor mill once again for the purported iPad Pro 2. And though none has been confirmed yet, it is reported to be unveiled soon.
According to reports, the device is expected to arrive sometime in fall. It may debut during the upcoming annual fall event of the Cupertino-based tech giant along with the highly anticipated iPhone 7 lineup. This is based on the release history of the series with the first iPad Pro launched in fall 2015. If Apple will follow the pattern, then it's more likely going to come out during the same time this year. If not, then fans will have to watch out for the official release date.
One thing is certain, though. It is said that the iPad Pro 2 will not be coming out before fall. It may even be coming out later than expected like around spring 2017. On top of that, Apple may also decide to put the release of the iPad Pro sequel on hold to make way for either a new iPad mini or the iPad Air 3.
As for the specs and features, rumors have it that the device will have some slight upgrades. It will be carrying a 12.9-inch display and will be equipped with the True Tone feature which automatically adjusts the white balance of the screen for a more realistic perspective. It's also said that the second installment of the iPad Pro will be sporting a 12-megapixel iSight camera with Live Photos and 4K recording. On the front is a 5-megapixel FaceTime HD camera paired with a Retina Flash.
Apparently, the device is highly derived from the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The expected difference it would make is the processor that would be installed in it. Speculations said that the iPad Pro 2 will get a higher processor compared to the current A9X. As for the color, the option Rose Gold is expected.
