iPhone 2017 release date and specs rumors: Is it going to be the much-awaited iPhone 7?

With the recent release of the new Apple's iPhone SE, fans and critics are switching their focus on the company's next flagship smartphone release. Rumors about the iPhone 2017 have already started and speculations about its release date and specs are already a subject of several tech forums online.
According to reports, the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning on bringing a whole new iPhone into the market next year. Popular Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities claimed that iPhone 2017 will be much different from what people are currently used to. He said that it will carry a 5.8-inch AMOLED display, along with its advanced features that would completely change the whole face of the iPhone series.
"We expect the 2017 new iPhone model to adopt a structural design similar to that of iPhone 4/ 4s, meaning it will be equipped with glass on both the front and back sides, and a metal frame surrounded the edges," Kuo said. "The difference is that the new model will likely come with a curved screen and curved glass casing, with other important features including a 5.8-inch AMOLED display, wireless charging, and more biometric recognitions (facial or iris). Given the curved design, the new model may look smaller than an existing 5.5-inch iPhone."
If there is any weight to Kuo's claim, next year will certainly be big for the company. It will become the biggest move Apple will ever do in the post-Steve Jobs era.
The new upcoming iPhone 2017 will definitely put the company back on top of its competitors. Kuo also added that the company may also release other iPhone models with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch LCD-based iPhones. The renowned Apple source said that the two other versions will market the mid-range buyer, while the new 5.8-inch AMOLED variant will target the high-end market.
