Want to trade-in your old iPhone or Android handset for Apple's latest iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus?

You still can. There are still many stores selling the latest Apple smartphones despite the initial flood of orders that came with the launching of the new devices.

It's true that many of the best trade-in deals have already expired. But the leading stores in America still have a lot of appetizing trade-in offers. They include:

Wal-Mart â€“ The largest retailer in the United States is set to launch its iPhone 6 trade-in program on Friday, in more than 3,000 of its stores all over the nation. For a limited time, owners of phones that are still in good condition can get even double their phone's trade-in value. The doubling deal runs from Oct. 5 to Oct. 18. But customers can only avail themselves of this deal if their phone has a trade-in value of $200 or less, as determined by their local Walmart. For example, they can trade-in their iPhone 5s, which would have a value of $100, and actually get $200 in store credit for use in purchasing the latest iPhone.

AT&T â€“ The telecom company can give customers even as much as a $300 trade-in value for their old iPhone to help them pay for their new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. The promo lasts up to Oct. 31. AT &T offers $300 promo card for an iPhone 5s, $200 for an iPhone 5 or 5c and $100 for an iPhone 4 or 4S. Customers may put their new phone on a traditional two-year plan, unlocked, or subscribe to AT&T Next plan, an option that enables customers to upgrade their devices more frequently than every two years.

Verizon -- This company offers to give a $300 gift card for trade-in customers with iPhone 5s, and $200 for those with iPhone 5c, iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. The promo is good until Oct. 15. It is also applicable to new iPhones that are unlocked, on a two-year contract or on its fast-upgrade plan, Verizon Edge.

Sprint -- According to its press release, Sprint will actually buy out the phone plans of customers from other carriers, and give them a Visa Prepaid Card each worth up to $350 per line. The deal only applies to "customers who bring their number from another carrier and activate an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus on the Sprint Simply Unlimited Plan." The offer can only be availed of at Sprint stores or by calling Sprint's sales team. The promo expires on Oct. 31. The only catch is that the participating customer may have to wait for up to 12 weeks for the prepaid cards to arrive.

T-Mobile -- This carrier promises a trade-in value of "over $350" for an iPhone 5 in good condition. It also promises to match any trade-in value a customer may get from AT&T, Verizon or Sprint. "If you do find a better trade-in value from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, we will beat it and pay out the difference," the company promises on its trade-in page. "Plus, for a limited time we'll give you $50, so you can trade up to the new device you want today."

eBay â€“ The online retailer promises a $100 coupon for a customer's phone even if it doesn't get sold. It also says that phones can be traded-in to as much as $400, the highest price for a 64 GB iPhone 5 in "excellent" condition .This deal ends on Oct. 24. Customers have 14 days to redeem their $100 coupon if their phone doesn't sell.
