iPhone 7 release date, specs news: To feature dual camera, will not be thinner
Although the upcoming iPhone 7 has yet to be officially announced by Apple, rumors and speculations have already surrounded the device. With new reports after another, it is definitely just a matter of time before the company announces its arrival. New reports regarding the handset include leaked information.

The popular magazine from Japan, Mac Fan, has reported that they have attained significant information about the Apple device. According to the publication, the handset, dubbed as iPhone 7 Pro, has a 5.5 inch display. It is expected to spearhead the next generation of iPhones to come.
Mac Rumors reported that basing on the drawings, there will be no major design modification between iPhone 6s and the rumored iPhone 7.
"iPhone 7 Plus Design Drawings Depict Dimensions Identical to iPhone 6s Plus," the publication wrote on their Twitter account.
It is said that if these new pieces of information will come out as true, the new iPhone will not be thinner than the current one in the market. It appears that some of the previous rumors about the iPhone 7 like the second are not included in this new leak.
Meanwhile, the rumored dual camera may not happen on all variants of iPhone 7. According to reports, the dual snapper feature may only appear on the iPhone 7 Pro, which is considered to be the high-end model.
Fans can see the dual camera feature of the device on the leaked drawing; however, it is not how it was explained to be when the rumors first came out.
In a report by 9 to 5 Mac, Apple's plan to eliminate the headphone jack may happen on this new device as Intel is also currently developing a new chip without the jack in favor of USB type-C connector.
As of now, Apple has yet to announce the iPhone 7; however, fans believe that the company will launch the device at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference 2016.
