A month after claiming that a fourth "Iron Man" movie is not in Marvel Studios' agenda, actor Robert Downey Jr. is now saying that he is willing to suit up again for "Iron Man 4."

"I feel like I could do one more," Downey said during an interview with "Nightline." Downey, one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, did not elaborate on the possibility, but his readiness to do the film already has half the job done.

During a chat with USA Today back in March, Downey said that Marvel Studios is not planning to do "Iron Man 4." He also insisted the same a couple of years back.

The actor said that he considers the latest Marvel film "Captain America: Civil War," where his character leads the charge against Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), as his fourth "Iron Man" film.

If a few years down the line, Downey is still as enthusiastic as he is today in doing "Iron Man 4," fans may be seeing Tony Stark in his fourth standalone film in the end.

As for playing the superhero on the whole, Downey told Daily Star, as reported by Yahoo, "I don't know how long I'll do it for. I'll keep playing Iron Man for a couple more years, I guess." Many believe this increases the possibility of "Iron Man 4."

Of course, even without solo flights, Downey is still going to play Iron Man but not in one-man ventures. He figures prominently in "Captain America: Civil War," which will be shown in theaters on May 6. Meanwhile, his appearance in the Spidey solo film "Spider-Man Homecoming" has already been confirmed. He definitely would also not miss "Avengers: Infinity War," which he already signed to do.

As for Downey' projects that are not Iron Man-related, there's "Sherlock Holmes 3," which the actor said might be in production later this year.
