"Jane the Virgin" season 3 will be a life-changing season for titular character Jane (Gina Rodriguez) because it is within this run that her moniker will no longer be applicable to her.

Speaking to Deadline, "Jane the Virgin" executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman teased when Jane will finally lose her virginity, but emphasized this isn't what the show is all about.

"I never wanted Jane to lose her virginity in a season premiere, or a season finale. I think that puts too much pressure on her virginity and frankly, that's never been what the show's been about," she said.

"That said, she won't be a virgin by the end of next season," Urman ultimately revealed. It makes sense for that to happen now that Jane is already a married woman coming to "Jane the Virgin" season 3.

However, there's the slight issue of Michael (Brett Dier) potentially being a goner after he took a bullet to the chest not long after he and his wife said their "I Dos."

Minutes after Michael and Jane officially became husband and wife, the first disaster already strikes and it's all thanks to Anezka (Yael Grobglas) who crashed the party and revealed that Petra (Grobglas) was the one was in a coma all along.

There is no information regarding Michael's fate just yet, although seeing how death has long been cheapened in television, fans expect that Michael will be revealed alive in "Jane the Virgin" season 3.

However, speculations have it that he will pull through although he might be in a coma for months. Outside of the guesses, there's virtually nothing known about Michael's real situation.

Going to "Jane the Virgin" season 3, Urman teased that "this next season will center around the idea of growing up — what it means, what it looks like, and what it costs."

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 is expected to premiere this fall on The CW.
