Hip-hop recording artist and record producer Jay Electronica may be releasing a new album soon. Fans have been waiting for a follow-up of his 2007 mixtape "Act 1: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge)." And after nine years, the sequel may finally come to reality.

According to reports, the elusive rapper took to Twitter to post several updates that may actually be hints of what he has been up to lately. He talked about a magic trick consisting of three parts or acts.

He wrote: "The first part is called #ThePledge. The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a M A N."

He then posted another tweet, saying, "He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course..it probably isn't."

"The 2nd Act is called #TheTurn," he continued. "This is where #TheMagician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something EXTRAORDINARY."

His last one from that series of tweets was then about how thankful he is for those who have continued to show support to him and for those who have been patient as well. He then closed it with a piece of advice, urging his followers to get Jay-Z's streaming service Tidal.

The much-talked about tweets have been deleted since. However, it is apparent that Jay was referring to his highly anticipated "Act II: Patents of Nobility" album, which may be coming out shortly. But when will it come out?

The "Exhibit C" creator may have teased it through a response to a fan. Twitter user @El_Compadre tweeted to Jay, saying, "I have 40 days left on my trial." The fan was referring to his Tidal subscription. Jay responded, "well you're safe" to the user, which could mean that the album is going to be dropped before 40 days is up.

Fans who are eager to get hold of the album will have to watch out for updates, specifically its release date.
