'Jessica Jones' season 2 spoilers, plot news: Will Kilgrave return for revenge?
Web television series "Jessica Jones" will return to the small screen soon for its second season. But fans will have to be very patient as it won't be back until 2018. Nonetheless, spoilers have surfaced ahead of time.
According to reports, heroine Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) will be facing multiple villains in the upcoming season. Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg spilled this information after being questioned about how they will be able to surpass the first season's big bad, Zebediah Kilgrave or Purple Man (David Tennant).

Jones killed him off in the previous season finale leaving fans wondering if Purple Man's death was the last of him. Many are speculating that there's a chance he could make a comeback amid the arrival of new villains. As noted in a report, Purple Man has the ability to regenerate in the comic books. He also has the power to heal his own body including very severe injuries.
Whenever he is killed, he goes in a death-like state while he regenerates. So will Kilgrave be back? Rosenberg had already mentioned before that they have no plans of doing the same plot all over again. So this could mean that Kilgrave is totally out of the picture now in order to pave the way for the new enemies.
But since a lot can happen within two years of developing, there's still a chance that Kilgrave could be incorporated into the mix again whether as a flashback or in an actual resurrection. Speculations also suggest that the new antagonists could be those who were victimized by Kilgrave's mind control.
Will Simpson (Wil Traval), who is considered as Netflix's Nuke, is also predicted to go to the dark side and be the next big bad. The character is packed with dark secrets and mysterious past that he could potentially turn evil.
Moreover, "Jessica Jones" season 2 will also be exploring more of the relationship of Jones and her adopted sister Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor). While fans want a romance to spark between them, the show is more focused on highlighting their sisterhood.
