Green Arrow will reportedly be in the "Justice League" movie, with "Jason Bourne" star Matt Damon taking on the role. However, the actor shot down the rumors that he is taking on a superhero role.

While promoting his upcoming "Jason Bourne" film, Damon debunked rumors that he will play the big screen counterpart of DC Comics hero Green Arrow, who is currently the center of The CW series "Arrow," in the "Justice League" movie.

"I'd consider anything with the right director, but I can't imagine there are any superheroes left, I think they're all taken at this moment," Damon said as quoted by Irish Examiner.

He also added he might consider doing a superhero film if his good pal Ben Affleck, who will reprise his role as The Dark Knight in the "Justice League" film, will be the director.

Damon taking on the Green Arrow role is also unlikely as the character is not expected to appear in "Justice League." While the archer has been hanging out with the superhero group in the comics, the film only includes select superheroes.

Batman, Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) will make up the titular group in the "Justice League" movie.

Apart from Green Arrow, another DC Comics fans should not expect to see in the "Justice League" movie is Hal Jordan also known as Green Lantern.

According to reports, the character won't be a part of the first "Justice League" film, but might be included in the second one. It is expected that Hal Jordan will be introduced in the DC Extended Universe in the coming years.

In the "Justice League" film, Batman and company will take on Steppenwolf. No announcement has been made with regards to who will play the character, but it is rumored that "Zero Dark Thirty" actor Julian Lewis Jones will bring the villain to life.

The "Justice League" movie will be in cinemas Nov. 17, 2017.
