Justin Bieber's life is an open book, and his fans are greatly aware of that. His love life, in particular, is always the one getting into headlines. The latest one is no exception. Bieber is the talk of the town again after posting photos of his allegedly new girlfriend, Sofia Richie, daughter of legendary singer-songwriter Lionel Richie and half-sister of Nicole Richie.
Bieber has not confirmed a relationship with the 17-year old model yet, but several fans have already gone frantic about the new detail. In fact, according to reports, some have gone below the belt by leaving "mean" comments in his post.
The Canadian pop star did not like the dissing of the fans to his Instagram posts with Richie, though, as they filled the comment section with snake emojis and rude accusations. That is when he decided to post another photo threatening his fans that he will make his account private if they don't stop being mean and rude.
"I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like," the "What Do You Mean" singer wrote in his post showing a photo of himself and Richie together in Japan for his tour.
Bieber may have felt that post would stop the hating, but it only turned worse as the fans revolted and took offense on the reprimand. Some said that it seemed like Bieber is choosing his purported new girlfriend over his fans who have been there for him since he started his career.
Several voiced out their sentiments and even started out the hashtag "#RIPBeliebers" on Twitter to show their dismay over the hit maker's scolding. But that's not the end of the story as ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez jumped on the bandwagon.
She went straight to the comments and wrote, "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol –it should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."
Now, Bieber's Instagram page is inaccessible as the singer has quit the platform shortly after this issue. Looks like Gomez and Bieber are not over yet — not with their relationship but with dissing each other.
