Kanye West and Drake new album collaboration rumors: Duo announce album collaboration

Fans of Kanye West and Drake now have a reason to join forces and celebrate as the two top artists recently announced that they are collaborating to create a new album.

As detailed in Forbes, Canadian rapper Drake brought with him a number of special guests during his Summer Sixteen Tour in Toronto. But what made the crowd go wild was when Kanye West emerged from backstage. He performed his latest and most controversial single "Famous" at Drake's OVO Fest, but more than his show, he brought with him some good news that made everyone excited.

According to a report, West teased the crowd about an upcoming album. "Toronto, I got one question for you: Is y'all ready for this album?" West said. "I'm not talking about 'Pablo.' I'm not talking about 'VIEWS.' I wanna ask y'all right now. Are y'all ready for this album?" he said during the event.

The crowd was momentarily confused which album but Drake clarified the whole thing and made the big announcement himself. "What my brother was asking you before was, are you ready if we make an album?" he asked the crowd who went even wilder as they heard that Drake and West are going to work together to come up with a new masterpiece.

Some of the fans have been waiting for this team up for such a long time already especially since Drake and West share a good relationship, helping out with each other's music careers.

West has been particularly vocal about his partnership with the "One Dance" singer. He even revealed that Drake helped him with "30 Hours" and "Father Stretch My Hands." He also shared that "Wolves" was birthed from a conversation that he had with the "Hotline Bling" artist. Moreover, Kim Kardashian's husband said that Drake would come by and just help with no fuss involved.

At this point, it is not certain as to when the album will come out, but if it does push through, it's expected to top the charts and arrive with hit singles. Fans will have to stay tuned to get more updates about the collaboration.
