Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole new album 2016 release date update: Lamar's world tour, Fourth of July White House performance delay joint album?

Due to their growing popularity, Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole can't seem to find time for their rumored joint album in their busy schedule.

The rappers deemed the biggest today have been focused on their individual careers, making it hard for them to work on the much-awaited Lamar and Cole project.

Last month, Cole headlined an extremely successful show at Johannesburg, South Africa. On the other hand, Lamar is currently on a world tour that spans up to October.

He will especially busy this month with three consecutive showings from July 15 to 17 in Ireland and Spain. However, he will take a long break by the end of July before going to his next stop, as indicated by the schedule on SongKick.

In addition, the Lamar and Cole joint album is still not out until now because Lamar has been preparing for a big performance at the Fourth of July event in the White House in celebration of military heroes.

President Barack Obama is a fan of the rapper, with his song "How Much a Dollar Cost" as his favorite song of 2015.

As rumors on Lamar's album with Cole continue to flow, the former prepares to take the stage in the White House along with singer Janelle Monae to perform in honor of the folks from the military who risk their lives for the country.

Another reason that the Lamar-Cole album is still not happening is because Lamar has also been working with Reebok.

The popular shoe brand recently released the Classic Leather shoes, which were born out of their collaboration.

The status of the Lamar-Cole album remains unknown, but fans know that back in 2012, both rappers started working on the joint project with photos of the two in the recording studio as proof.

However, since Lamar and Cole have become two of the biggest and most popular rap superstars since then, the artists are reportedly having a hard time squeezing in the project.
