Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus news and updates: Device will be available this month at an expected price of $128
Lenovo has recently unveiled its latest smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus. The launching happened on March 15 during a press conference in New Delhi, India. It was first introduced in February at the Mobile World Congress or MWC 2016.
Although there is not much difference from its little brother, Lenovo Vibe K5, the latest model will have a more advanced screen and chipset technology. It is expected to become available to the tight smartphone market in India on Mar. 23. Although the price of the new model is higher than the Lenovo Vibe K5, the amount is still surprisingly low compared to other handsets from its competitors.
Lenovo has kept its promise to deliver new products with the latest technology, which can compete with major smartphone companies.
"Lenovo has always strived to push the boundaries of innovation and bring the best technology through its devices to every category of consumers," said the director of Lenovo Smartphones India, Sudhin Mathur. "With the K5 Plus, we want consumers to 'Knock out' their existing smartphones and upgrade to a better performing phone."
It is said that the new Lenovo smartphone is good for users who intend to use their device as their entertainment gadget. It features three different colors – all come with metallic body case. Colors available are Champagne gold, graphite grey, and Platinum silver.
The device also carries impressive specs under the hood, which is led by its Qualcomm 64-Bit Snapdragon 616 Octacore chipset, along with the 2 GB of RAM. The device also comes with 16GB internal storage capacity, plus a micro SD support that can hold up to 128GB extra storage.
The display will have a full HD 1080p resolution, with a 2750 mAh removable battery feature.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is expected to come out with a $128 or 8,499 RS price tag. Definitely not bad for a good quality smartphone.
