A lot of Marvel fans are eager to see the release of "Luke Cage" on Netflix and the show has been getting nothing but praise from critics who've had earlier access. A new clip of the show has been released and it teases audiences with Mahershala Ali's villain Cottonmouth.

The clip is titled "Be King" and has Cottonmouth interrogating someone as he stands in front of a poster of Biggie Smalls/The Notorious BIG. The clip ends with him saying "Everybody wants to be king." Sure enough, the show may have some serious power play going on, and it will be up to Luke Cage (Mike Colter) to stop Cottonmouth.

Since the show has deep roots in black culture, "Luke Cage" also has a huge emphasis on its soundtrack which is full of hip-hop. Hence, the Notorious BIG poster. The people in charge of the music behind the show said that working on the season is like working on 13 albums. Each episode is also said to be a title of a hip-hop song and they draw inspiration from various groups, one of which is NWA.

In the comics, Cottonmouth is an intelligent businessman who is also prominent in hand-to-hand combat. He has the same amount of strength that Luke has as well. In the comics, Cottonmouth had his human teeth replaced with razor sharp teeth coated with 18 karat gold. The TV version's villain did not look seem to have any of these features but it's possible that he may be getting them by the time the series ends.

A lot of praise has been given to the show so far, and when it comes out later this month, more people are bound to talk about it online. With the critical success of "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones," fans are relieved to hear that "Luke Cage" pulls no punches.

"Luke Cage" arrives on Netflix Friday, Sept 30.
