'Mafia 3' DLC release date, news: DLC features new character outfits, soundtrack, free races

Just a few more weeks left until gamers will be able to get hold of the upcoming open world, action-adventure video game "Mafia 3." Developer Hangar 13 Studio has pumped up the hype for it by releasing details and features ahead of time.
According to reports, the third installment of the franchise will be packed with new contents including new character outfits. This will allow players to adjust what protagonist Lincoln Clay will be wearing.
The game will also have a vehicle customization feature that can let players tweak and enhance their ride. They can give it new wheels, paint and license plates. They can also give their vehicles an upgrade in terms of performance.
Aside from the gameplay features, "Mafia 3" will also be more musically-inclined as it will be coming with a great licensed-music soundtrack.
As detailed in Game Spot, the title will be playing songs from classic singers like The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Elvis. This will affect the atmosphere of the game going as it is set in 1968 in the city of New Bordeaux. The game is going to have more than 100 licensed tracks including the songs that publisher 2K Games never thought it would be able to get.
Free races will also be included in the game and this is where gamers can take part in a series of races and travel around the city. Also, by taking part in these contests, they can acquire money and get new bonuses for their vehicles.
Moreover, there will also be new weapons. There is reportedly going to be a golden weapon pack featuring the Judge, Jury, and Executioner. All three will be coming post-launch of the game sometime in November. New expansions are also expected to hit the shelves after the release of "Mafia 3." These are titled "Faster, Baby!," "Sign of the Times" and "Stones Unturned."
"Mafia 3" is set to be released on Friday, Oct. 7, and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Mac.
