Gameplay footage of "Mass Effect Andromeda" is expected to be released this Fall, as well as a whole bunch of new information regarding the game and a possible Collector's Edition for it.

Bioware producer Michael Gamble promised details about the upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter later this year. When asked on Twitter about a Collector's Edition, Gamble simply urged fans to keep their eyes peeled for more news this fall.

Although Bioware has been stingy with "Mass Effect Andromeda" details, the studio did have something to say about the story of the game.

Bioware general manager Aaryn Flynn talked to Glixel about what the scene in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) trailer showing protagonist Ryder all alone as she looked over the massive galaxy meant.

"Sure, one person is at Andromeda, but humanity really achieved something when she woke up there. We're all there with her in some sense, and yet she's intensely alone in that one shot in the trailer," Flynn explained.

"What does it all mean, and what does it all tell us about our humanity, I think those are themes that are fantastic to explore, especially in interactive entertainment," he continued.

Bioware creative director Mac Walters also added that this scene in the "Mass Effect Andromeda" E3 trailer was designed to capture the feeling of being able to "make it" and survive a task that was once insurmountable.

As revealed at E3, "Mass Effect Andromeda" will feature detailed characters and more realistic romances and friendships. The customization in the game will be much better and more expansive than how it was in previous "Mass Effect" installments.

"Mass Effect Andromeda" will follow the story of Ryder, an untested explorer who will learn more about the galaxy as players progress in the game.

The protagonist can either be male of female but Bioware has prepared more surprises about this aspect of the game.

"Mass Effect Andromeda" releases early next year.
