'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release date, gameplay news: New title to be released in 2017

The upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter video game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," has been confirmed to come out in early 2017. This latest development may have disappointed many fans who were hoping to get a copy of the game this year; however, some players are glad that it finally has an official release date window.

According to the game's official blog, Mass Effect, game developer BioWare intentionally delay the release of the title to make sure they deliver it in its best form. Aaron Flynn, the General Manager of BioWare, said that the team is currently working on the game. They want people to know that they just want to make sure the game passes all the quality standards they set before its release, as reported by US GAMER.

"As we've been playing the game at the studio recently, it's showing us that we're taking the game in the right direction," the General Manager said. "But we also know we need the right amount of time to make sure we deliver everything the game can be and should be – that's our commitment from all of us to all of you. Because of that, Mass Effect: Andromeda will now ship in early 2017."

Flynn assured all fans that BioWare will give them something to be happy about on June 12 at the EA Play press conference. The company will give details about the game at the event, which will happen several days before E3 2016.

In addition, Flynn also enumerated the features and ways players can enjoy the "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

Players will have more freedom as the game allows them to explore and experience a whole new environment. Gamers will definitely enjoy the new uncharted worlds of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." They will meet new allies, fight against new enemies in the most unfamiliar territories.
