'Mighty No. 9' release date update and news: Game is scheduled to be released in June

The upcoming action-platform video game, "Mighty No. 9" has just recently been announced and fans could no longer wait to get a hold of the game. The people behind the new game said that the development has already gone gold, which basically means that it is ready to be deployed to the market. According to reports, the game will be available on June 21.
After being delayed multiple times, video game developer Comcept has finally finished the development of the game.
Game creator Keiji Inafune has apologized to the fans for the delay during a statement in January.
"Firstly, I would like to say again how sincerely sorry we are for how long we have kept all of our fans waiting," the game creator said. "We understand that as a result of the various delays we have disappointed and let down our fans, but we are happy to finally be able to deliver the game to everyone who brought us this far."
In 2013, the company started a crowdfunding campaign to develop the much anticipated "Mighty No. 9." They were able to raise four million dollars after 67,000 people donated to their campaign. The game was originally slated for a 2015 release; however, the developer was having issues with the project; hence, the delayed.
Nonetheless, Inafune assured all fans that there will be no further delays of the game this time.
The company has recognized the effort of so many people who made this project happen.
"This is a project where everyone's passions were combined in order to create something very special, and we are looking forward to delivering the final product to everyone who was involved," Inafune said.
Meanwhile, according to reports, the game will available on both physical and digital copies for PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U. For PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, the game will only be available in digital copy.
