'Mortal Kombat X' DLC release date not yet set; new patch coming for PC, PS4 and Xbox One

"Mortal Kombat X" gamers are still waiting for the day that developer NetherRealm Studios will release the most anticipated downloadable content (DLC) of the title. Many are looking forward to the Kombat Pack 3. Unfortunately, until now, details are still kept under wraps.
According to reports, several are already excited to grab the expansion because it promises to bring in more playable characters in the roster. But some of the fans were disappointed after learning that the team behind the game did not give away any valuable information during the Evolution Championship Series 2016 which took place in Las Vegas last July.
Many were hoping to hear news but "Mortal Kombat X" was missing in action. And now, fans are left wondering when the DLC will actually come out. No official date has been announced yet so fans must wait and see. Moreover, reports noted that "Mortal Kombat X" co-creator Ed Boon already mentioned that they will not dish details about it in advance.
Last week, however, Boon made an update on his Twitter account. He tweeted, "MKXL players! We WILL soon release a gameplay balance patch & ideally would like to target its release along with the PC launch of MKXL."
Boon's tweet has made several giddy as they have also been waiting for this new patch Also, he may have just confirmed that the PC version of "Mortal Kombat XL" will be getting a new balancing patch. It will also be making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms soon.
As of the moment, fans are just on standby for updates regarding the new patch and the Kombat Pack 3 DLC. But they will have to take note that NetherRealm Studios may be slow in their progress as they are currently more focused on the upcoming "Injustice 2" game which is set to be released this 2017.
The sequel of the fighting video game will be featuring several DC characters including Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Supergirl, Harley Quinn, Deadshot and more.
