Motorola's Moto G4 release date and specs rumors: Device is said to come in two variants?

Motorola's Moto G4 has started to become a hot topic in the tech world for the past few weeks. There have been several contradicting reports with regard to its release date and specifications; however, the latest one might just be what fans are looking for. The recent leak of the upcoming device shows what the device is made of and the confirmation of its two variants.
Motorola has already been acquired by the Chinese multinational technology company, Lenovo. Many fans have been hoping that the acquisition will help the brand to deliver more improved devices in their upcoming releases. According to the new leak, the upcoming Moto G4 will have two models. The lower end model will carry 2 GB of RAM, along with its 16 GB internal story capacity. It will also sport 13-megapixel camera rear snapper, which is said to have laser autofocus technology. The higher-end variant will carry 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB of onboard storage capacity. It will also boast a 16-megapixel main camera.
Both variants are said to come with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter and an expandable storage via microSD. According to The Verge, the device will also come with NFC feature, which will surely be one of the factors why consumer would prefer the Moto G4.
There have been numerous leaks that suggested the design and specifications of the device including the one from Design & Trend, which shows the square-shaped home button of Moto G4. The home button also houses the fingerprint scanning feature.
Meanwhile, there are reports circulating online that the upcoming Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus will both be revealed at the company's press conference on May 17 in India.
No words have come out yet coming from Lenovo; however, fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the company announces its release date details.
